moveme.com
I was the 1st member of staff and Senior Designer for moveme.com from September 2006 to January 2009.
Since starting this position there have been 4 re brands of the site, I have handled my time in a professional manner, organising and prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines. With strong investment from Lastminute.com’s Brent Hoberman amongst many other high profile investors we have built a strong and functionally stable web service. My specific tasks involve blueprinting and constructing design and layout elements of the site, working closely with a team of programmers to ensure we meet specific requirements. In this role I am mainly involved in design using Adobe PhotoShop and ImageReady, creation of pages using DreamWeaver 8 and Microsoft Visual Studio. My CSS and XHTML skills are exceptional and I am capable of solving known and new issues and managing cross browser compatibility. I mentor and train a junior designer in his 1st design role and enjoy sharing skills and techniques with others.
citysocialising.com
I gained this freelance position through Atlas Computer Systems who were contracted by citysocialising.com to build the new site (www.citysocialising.com). In this role I used concept layouts and graphics, sliced the images and constructed each page, menu, button, list and all other visual front end elements using CSS and HTML. This was completed to a tight deadline to provide Atlas Computer System developers time to code the back end. The resulting site is now live and can be seen at www.citysocialising.com
